Privacy Policy

This site is run by Mark Josephson. I keep things simple: I collect as little as possible, I never sell your information, and I treat anything you share with me the way I'd want my own information treated.
What I collect
- Contact form. If you reach out through the contact page, I receive the name, email, company, and message you submit.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, I store your email address and subscription status. Subscriptions use double opt-in: you confirm by email before you're added to the list.
- Client onboarding. If you become a coaching client, information you share during onboarding is treated as confidential client material, not marketing data.
- Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to understand how pages are used (pages visited, general location, device type). This uses cookies. I don't see personally identifying information in analytics.
How I use it
To respond when you reach out, to send the newsletter you signed up for, to run my coaching practice, and to make the site better. That's it. I don't sell your information or share it with anyone for their marketing.
Services that process data on my behalf
- Netlify hosts the site and processes contact form submissions.
- Supabase stores the newsletter subscriber list.
- Resend delivers newsletter and confirmation emails.
- Google Analytics provides site usage statistics.
Coaching confidentiality
Everything discussed in a coaching engagement is confidential. I don't share who my clients are, what we discuss, or details that could identify them. Testimonials and client names appear on this site only with each person's explicit permission.
Your choices
- Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
- You can ask me what information I have about you, or ask me to delete it, by emailing mark@markjosephson.net.
- You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings if you'd rather not be included in analytics.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
