Coaching for founders who are scaling beyond their comfort zone.

I work with CEOs and leadership teams at high-growth, venture and PE-backed companies. My job is to help you move faster, make better decisions, and build a company that lasts.

Who I work with

Stage

I'm stage agnostic. Most of my clients are Series A through C, though I love working with founders before, through, and beyond growth stages.

Backing

Venture or PE-backed. You have a board, investors, and external expectations to manage alongside the work.

Challenge

Transitioning from doer to leader. The skills that got you here are not the skills that get you there.

How it works

We meet regularly, usually every two weeks. Sometimes more often during critical moments. Between sessions, I'm always on via Slack, email, or WhatsApp. I want to be your first call when something comes up.

I bring frameworks, opinions, and real experience. I'm here to help you figure out what you already know, challenge what you think you know, and push you to do what needs to be done.

How I coach

Three things make my approach different:

I care deeply

I'm unconditionally in your corner. Your success is my success. I'll push you hard, but I'll never abandon you.

I've done the job

I'm not theorizing. I've been the CEO. I've made payroll, fired friends, navigated crises, and sold companies. I know what it feels like.

I tell you what I think

I won't just ask questions. I'll share my opinions. You need someone who will tell you the truth, not just reflect your thoughts back at you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you work with?

I coach founders and CEOs of venture and PE-backed companies, typically Series A through growth stage. I also work with executive teams and first-time leaders stepping into bigger roles.

Do you only work with CEOs?

No. I also work with anyone reporting to the CEO. I've coached CMOs, CFOs, CTOs, CROs, and other executives. I can offer a good perspective on what CEOs are looking for and how to be successful managing up and down.

How does coaching work?

We meet regularly, usually every two weeks for 60 minutes. Agendas are either set ahead of time, or, often, clients come with the top things on their plate and we dive in. Between sessions, I'm available via Slack, email, Messages, or WhatsApp. I want to be your first call when something comes up.

How long is a typical engagement?

I consider this an important relationship and want it to last. Many of my clients have worked with me for multiple years. While I optimize for LTV, as long as you're seeing value, we keep going, and if you're not, we don't.

What makes your coaching different?

I've been a CEO three times with three exits. I'm not theorizing about what you're going through. I've lived it, made the mistakes, and built the muscle. I'll tell you what I actually think, not just reflect your thoughts back at you.

Do you coach teams or just individuals?

Both. Most of my work is 1:1 coaching with founders and CEOs, but I also work with co-founders and leadership teams as a whole, which usually includes a mix of 1:1 and team meetings. I also can facilitate leadership team offsites, strategy sessions, and peer groups for founders.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you're leading a company and feel like the skills that got you here aren't the skills that will get you there, coaching can help. The best way to find out is to have a conversation. No pressure, no pitch.
